Any home birth mamas?

I have never had a home birth, but I just wanted to say that if this is something that you are seriously considering than you need to make sure you discuss with your physician complications that could arise during home births or hospital births and what their protocol would be if they occur. Things to consider would be meconium stained fluid, hemorrhage, and shoulder dystocia. Are they planning on monitoring this baby throughout or intermittently? Just something to think about.
