 Hope this is allowed here  I done the red cabbage test last year with my lb who is 7 months old now well last year the water was purple which means boy, this year as you can see redish which is pink done the baking soda in my case powder lol and it says if it fizzles it's boys if nothing then girl and mine did a little fizzle so don't no, any way the ring test if you hang it over your wrist it tells you your past children and weather you'll have any more lol, and mine in my case was right circles first = girl up and down = boy up and down again = boy and then this one circles = girl then stopped lol, Chinese gender said girl and the scan can't tell me much as most no but I'll post again lol, thank you for reading  xx |

Ring test and Chinese prediction have been wrong for 3 of my children, I have 4 boys but should have 2 of each according to the Chinese gender chart. Predicted girl this time, so no doubt incorrect again this time  The ring test told me girl last time, I had a boy! Haven't bothered to try it this time as holds no truth in my eyes. Ha. I have never done the cabbage one but did the baking soda one this time and it fizzed = boy! My scan photo has a very girly looking nub at 12 wk 5 day gestation. I think the baking soda one definitely depends on the acidity of your urine, so it has little credibility. I researched it online and it has been incorrect for many ladies, but correct for a few. Only way you're going to know for sure is at 20 week scan or when baby is born. The other angles of trying to guess (bar nub theory) are just hit n miss if you ask me. Think we're so desperate to know we'll try any old nonsense to have an answer  |

These tests are just for fun. They are not a source of actual gender. You basically just have a 50/50 chance with these tests. They have been disproven time and time again. Don't put your faith in these test telling you the gender of your baby. Again 50/50.

As you said it was just for fun and thought I'd share my fun with you lovely ladies I find out by elective gender scan on 25/10/2014 can't wait again the Chinese gender was right for all mine all tho had to google for a 16 year old as was 16 when fell with my first born and 17 when had her hard finding it but was right with my 3, it's fun doing these tests and seeing ohs face as he thinks this ones another boy lol as you said Hun its a 50/50 chance my mate even got all boy guesses on her scan and its deffo a girl lol even that can be wrong but they went by skull I went by nub which could see as clear as day and I said girl  ? xx |

It is just for fun guys, I said she could post it all here. Maybe you would had better responses on the Pregnancy talk forum? I didn't bother with a Just for Fun forum (like there was on IG) because this place is just temporary. There will be one on the new site, which I am hoping will be up and ready to go by the end of the week. And all the old wives tales told me boy for my youngest, but I think that was also mainly because that is what I wanted to hear, you know? lol...your mind is a terrible trickster to ourselves! Very much looking forward to your update on baby's gender! Not much longer to go now! |

I enjoyed taking part in this discussion, different from the norm on here I do like to give a guess on the skull if I can't see a decent nub shot, but it is purely for fun. Looking forward to your update also x |

No not long keep counting down the days lol, I posted here as it is different for everyone to see and all the diff ways you can test for fun that's while your bored waiting for the scan to come round lol I will deffo update as soon as I no I think all these are the same jenaemma because I want to here girl and have a feeling girl my gut has been wrong before mind you lol xx |
