I thought I'd start our buddy group over here. I know CALBRAD and L8CEY22 are here. Hopefully the others will come over as well.

Hi all, thanks for the link over here catchingbabies. Is it better to stay on here now? The nursery is looking fantastic. We're having carpet fitted in a couple of weeks and then we'll be more or less done with the nursery too. Will post pics once it's all finished. My cousin's given us a big bag full of baby clothes. Sorting through them all made us get all excited. Baby clothes are soooooo cute! My wife's glucose tolerance test came back normal, but she's now anaemic. I think that's common in pregnancy? Apart from that, everything is going well. Will try to remember to take some pics of bump when I get home. Hope everyone is doing well. |

I'm so glad you made it over here!
I think it'll be easier to stay here until our due dates seeing as IG is having so much trouble with photos :-( i will check in over there in case some of the others don't want to come over here.
My iron is quite low, too, so I'm on iron tablets. Is your wife feeling really tired? I hope she's okay. Baby clothes are the sweetest! I think it's the size that makes them that much sweeter :-)

Downloaded this app on my phone but I'm not the most technical person so it may take me a while to get to grips with it!
Your nursery is beautiful CB.
My iron levels and everything are perfect but boy am I feeling this pregnancy now. Think I'm just too old now! The last week or so particularly I've been so tired all the time, struggle to get the motivation to do anything at all. Baby is still transverse and the bigger he gets the more painful movements are becoming, I find myself physically jumping when he stretches out. Sleeping is near impossible as whichever side i choose to lie on he gets squished at his head or his bum and makes his discomfort known very quickly! I really hope he turns soon so the last few weeks can be a little more comfortable. I hope everyone is well and happy! Won't be long at all now until we start welcoming our new arrivals x

I'm on a few forums send they all suggest using Tapatalk. I think, in all cases though, it's better just to use the normal browser. That's just preference though!
Yes, my wife feels tired all the time, but hopefully now things will get better now she's taking iron tablets.
Hopefully things will get better MummyB. I really feel for you. Each morning, my wife wakes up either either backache or hip ache because of difficulty sleeping.
IIRC, you all have kids already? We've got our first NCT classes soon, so hopefully we'll learn something of use there!

Spencer, i agree with you. I downloaded tapatalk, but I prefer to use the browser and change the view to desktop view instead of mobile view. . It seems to work brilliantly.
Evie, I'm so sorry you are so uncomfortable. It's so unpleasant that right when we need our rest and sleep, we find it difficult to do so. I find I'm waking a few times during the night for bathroom stops. It's so disruptive. My baby is still head down but the kicks to the ribs are awful. I never experienced any discomfort with Lachie, so this experience is quite new to me.
I can't believe our little darlings will be here soon. I feel like it's flown by. It makes me feel incredibly sad that this is the last time I'll ever be able to experience such a blessing growing inside of me.
Spencer, you'll learn a great deal at your antenatal classes. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Your wife looks amazing. She's carrying quite low. Beautiful!

I think the old wives tale is more about shape for indicating gender. |
