Thank u, cant wait to see your pics spencer!
We cant agree on names either, what worries me is that with boys, like l8cey, we were so sure of what we wanted and both time we had no girls names (didnt know sex with previous pregnancies) and there really are no girls names that stand out for us! Really starting to panic!
Im feeling quite organised, need to start thinking about hospital bags etc but have washed all of little ones clothes, blankets etc so they are all ready! Im not doing any photo shoots etc, i dont do photos!
Hope everyone is keeping well x

Take care, Hayley. Be sure to rest. We are all set in every aspect of this pregnancy. Hospital bags have been packed for weeks now, room is all ready, I'm ready etc. I'll probably go overdue now haha I'm feeling so much bigger this time. My next appointment is next Monday. We are set with names. Harrison Nicholas or Ellie Marie. I know we won't be using the girl name but we have one picked just in case. I'm not Keen on pregnancy photo shoots. Our photographer friend keeps asking me to do one so that he can add more photos to his portfolio. I don't really want to do it. I'm quite happy with the photos I take myself. I'm not having a baby shower as I had one with my first. My friends have organised a dinner down by the beach for me, though. No gifts or fuss just a relaxing girly dinner before baby arrives. Rest up, everyone, and conserve your energy for your big day which will fast approach

Hi all,
That's us back from holiday unfortunately! We had a lovely time and no one wanted to come home.
Haley your nursery is gorgeous.
I hope everyone is keeping well, I did read all the posts but I've got the memory of a goldfish and by the time I've clicked reply I've forgotten what everyone has said! I'm back at the midwife on Thursday for 34 week check hoping beyond all hope to convince her to give me a sweep at 37 or 38 weeks. My sickness has been utterly miserable the last two or three weeks despite full dose cyclizine every day. Pretty difficult to enjoy the pregnancy when I'm just vomiting, or feel like I'm about to vomit, all day every day. They tend to have a pretty strict no sweep til 41 weeks rule, but I'm gonna try my luck anyway because I've had about as much of this as I can put up with. The thought of another six weeks is near unbearable.

Oh, Evie, I really feel for you. I wish you the absolute best of luck at your appointment. Fingers crossed they'll take pity on you and approve your request. Surely your peace of mind and happiness needs to be taken into account here. I'm glad you had a wonderful holiday despite your sickness.

Hope all is going well with everyone, especially you MummyB.
We went to our first antenatal class last night. It was alright. Not great, but it was ok. I think it's more for meeting people in the area so that we have a local network. There were times when it was like a team bonding session; working in groups, to come up with thoughts and ideas. I hate all that kind of thing!
Baby's furniture arrived yesterday too, so hopefully I'll be able to set that up properly soon. It's really difficult moving large items now by myself as I don't want my wife to be lifting anything at the moment!

Thanks everyone, feeling a little less sorry for myself today though still being sick about once an hour which is a little grim!
Gosh Spencer that sounds like a nightmare. I hate that kind of thing too, sounds more like one of those team/morale building things my other half gets sent on with work than an antenatal class! Perhaps they will get better going forward. I hope so.
My poor other half is the same, doing everything himself just now in terms of furniture etc. I feel bad for him at times but he simply refuses to let me help. Last night he put together my pram for me, so that was nice. Cheered me up a little to remember all this suffering will result in a little bundle of joy, it's easy to forget when just feeling so Ill all the time. My mum was horrified that I'd bought a pram, I didn't dare tell her I'd built the thing lest she have a heart attack! She's not generally a superstitious person but she is one of those never have a pram in the house before baby is born people. She genuinely believes it's bad luck. Any of you believe the old wives tales such as this one?
I took a leap today and ordered a blanket to be made for baby which I designed myself, I have asked for it to be personalised with the name Murray so there's no going back now! I settled on Murray as my other half is called Ray, he hates his name and wouldn't even entertain the idea of using it as a middle name. So Murray kind of names our son after his daddy indirectly.
This Sunday is my 31st birthday, boy do I feel old! So we will be going out for a nice family dinner after the girls usual sunday horse riding lessons. Something to look forward to, I will be a cheap feed anyway as I have so little room these days haha.
Hope everyone is well and happy! x

My mum is always telling me not to have the pram inside the house before baby arrives. Luckily, the pram I'll be using is the one I use for my son so it's in the boot of my car. I'm not sure I believe in that superstition anyway.
Happy 31st birthday for Sunday. I turned 30 last May. That's when we announced to all our family and friends that we were expecting again.
I'm having so much trouble sleeping at the moment. How's everyone else going in that department? I'll be ready for night time feeds by the time baby arrives. We've already had some hot nights, which haven't helped. It's currently 30 degrees and it's 1am! Summer is starting early haha
Congrats on selecting baby's name, Evie. I do think it is sweet and so meaningful.
Spencer, the antenatal classes I went to with my first were a little like that. I'm not keen on group exercises either. I hope the remainder of your classes are better.

My gosh, you all sound so young! I'm 36 and my wife is 34. Her birthday was the last time she had a drink (and even then it was just a little one) because the pregnancy test came back positive the day after. I'd never heard if that superstition until yesterday myself. My wife told me because I'm collecting ours this week. Doesn't seem right keeping it in the garage! I love all the names people are picking.

You're not that old Spencer, my other half is turning 46 two weeks after I turn 31. He's developed a bit of the grumpy old man syndrome lately I must say haha. Maybe it's spending 14 years with me that's done that though!
I've had trouble sleeping too CB, getting comfortable is such a struggle sometimes. Other times I just can't settle for no apparent reason. I have the opposite problem with the temperate though, it's suddenly got really cold. Had to start closing the window at nights, soon be time to turn on the heating and crack out the hot water bottle!

Spencer im 39 so im not young!
CB i can sleep for england, except last night i didnt sleep at all but that cus i didnt get home from hospital til 9pm so couldnt switch off. My bp still sky high so they have put me on medication now, but my blood tests showed my platelets are dropping too so i had to have a steroid injection last night and have to go back for another tonight "incase i need to be induced early" hence my sleepless night! They wanted me to stay in last night but i said i would rather go home as difficult with 2 kids at home to be away unless totally necessary. Anyway im hoping the bp may have lowered by time i go back tonight! Hope u r all ok x

Good news that you're both not sleeping. Well, what I mean is that my wife has had trouble lately too, so she'll know it's not just her! Everything seems such more effort for her at the moment. Hope all goes well tonight Hayley.

I hope your BP improves quickly, Hayley. Baby is not ready yet and I'm sure you're not ready either.
My husband is 35. We've been together for 11 years and married for 5. It seems like we've been together for a lifetime.
I hope everyone manages to get some rest soon. Thinking of you all xxx
