Such a lovely neat little bump your wife has Spencer, I don't know anything about bump shape or size or anything indicating gender so I won't even bother to hazard a guess! I had thought for some reason you knew you were having a girl? Perhaps I just plucked that out of nowhere, I blame baby brain haha.
I suppose the discomfort is par for the course at this stage CB, I'm sorry you are experiencing it too. Like you this will likely be our last baby so I am trying my best to enjoy the last few weeks but sometimes it's a challenge, especially with so little sleep. I will surely miss it when it's all over though.
I have never attended any classes, I was never offered any and was unaware of their existence with my oldest daughter who is now 11. I'm sure they would have been invaluable. I was offered them with the younger two of my daughters but it was one of those things I never got round to. I'm pretty awful for that in all honesty. I really hope the classes are helpful to you and your wife Spencer and a good experience for you. Do let us know how you get on!

Has anyone had their morning sickness come back in the third trimester? I never did with Lachie, but I've felt quite nauseous during the last week or so. Any ideas, guys?

My sickness has picked up again too, mostly over the last week. I've been on cyclizine three times a day for the entire pregnancy which really has helped but the last few days it doesn't seem to be making as much difference. I think it's fairly common for the sickness to pick back up around this time, here's hoping it doesn't last long!
I'm a stay at home mum, so no work for me to stop. I admire anyone still working at this stage, it must be so draining.
I wasn't due back at the midwife until 34 weeks as we only get seen every six weeks and I was there week 28 but I have made an appointment for tomorrow as a result of feeling decidedly off today. I woke up this morning persistently vomiting, much more than is normal even for me, had a terrible headache that lasted hours on end even after paracetamol and whenever I turned my head from my side to side I could see all these annoying little floating dots around the outside of my line of vision. I'm thinking now it was just a bad migraine, as although the sickness remains the headache etc have finally gone so I'm not sure if I should cancel the appointment or go anyway. I would hate to waste anyone's time.

Oh, I do feel got you all with your morning sicknesses. Hopefully, it'll all clear up soon. My wife says she's been feeling a bit funny lately, but put it down to the iron tablets. She finishes work on 14th November and she's literally counting down the days. I do feel bad sending her into London on the train, but there's not much we can do about that now. Yes MummyB, we are having a girl. My initial nub scan though, looked very boyish though, but we had a harmony test which is 99% accurate which came back as a girl. 9 weeks to our EDD now!

Im finishing work 10th november but i only work from home 2 hours a day doing calls for nhs anyway so its no problem for me to work up until then. Im off next week to help/supervise hubby with nursery! Still undecided on name, thought we had decided on Ella but in the last 2 weeks 2 people have had dogs and called them Ella which has put me off slightly!

Oh, Evie, i hope you are okay. Morning sickness is awful, but morning sickness combined with a migraine = horrendous!
I finish work on the 6th of November. I'll be just shy of 36 weeks. Fingers crossed I make it as last time I was in labour at work at 34+5 weeks. I'd prefer not to be in labour at work again haha
I had an appointment yesterday and baby is still head down but 5/5. I think baby had found its comfy/happy place. We've been head down since 26 weeks. My next appointment is in 2 weeks.

Good morning all.
Well I decided in the end to just go along to the midwife appointment I had made yesterday afternoon, only to be sent straight to the maternity ward because of blood, 1 protein and 4 ketones in my urine. It was such a long afternoon hooked up to an IV to rehydrate. It seems I just became so dehydrated that my kidneys were having trouble working. I finally got discharged around 1am and am now back home just in time to pack for going on our little holiday this afternoon. I sure could use it now!
I hope everyone is well x

Hi Spencer! I just wanted to say hello and offer an olive branch to you..I sincerely apologize to you with anything I had said or done when you first posted and updated so many moons ago (feels like forever now, huh?) on ingender, it had been a rotten time as many things were going on there at the time, but really that isn't any excuse. You are excited about baby and that was really uncalled for how I reacted. So again, I offer my apologies. I am glad you made it over here and am very excited for you with your new baba due soon, you will make one fantastic dad..that is very very evident and is actually quite refreshing to see a father to be's perspective And I just wanted to say your wife looks actually quite fantastic! What a great bump! All of you guys have such fantastic bumps..I am going to have to dig some old pics of me out while preggers with my girls to make you all feel way better about yourselves! lol..... I hope you all are doing amazingly well in your final trimester countdown....I am so anxious to see all your beautiful holiday babies when they arrive..much love and hugs to you all!

Thanks Becky. I'm not really sure what I did wrong, but I'm happy to just forget it and move on if that's ok with you. It's a great site you've put together here and it's great being part of it. I hope all the ladies are doing well, especially Evie, who I hope is enjoying her holiday. And Hayley, that's a great 30 week pic. . How often is everyone taking baby bump pics? Decorating's nearly finished, so hopefully I'll be putting some pics of the nursery up soon.
